Got some questions?

The State of the Open Home is our annual event where we celebrate community achievements, share what we’ve built together, and get excited about what comes next. Previous editions have been online only, but this year we’re hosting an audience, while still live streaming for our global community.

Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the TivoliVredenburg entertainment venue in Utrecht, the Netherlands

State of the Open Home 2026 is a hybrid event. You can join us in person at TivoliVredenburg for the full experience (dinner, talks, and networking) by buying a ticket, or tune into our high-quality livestream from anywhere in the world.

  • 18:00 to 19:30, K.F. Hein and Pandora foyers: Meet and greet and casual dinner
  • 19:30 to 21:30, Pandora Hall: Building in the Open program
  • 21:30 to 22:30, K.F. Hein and Pandora foyers: Networking and drinks

Yes, TivoliVrendenburg has cloakrooms so you don’t have to carry your belongings around with you. Please note, the venue does not allow bags to be brought into the hall where our main program is held.

Your ticket includes access to all sessions, and a casual dinner featuring international street food-style cuisine served from fixed stations and trays. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available.

We will be releasing tickets on our website in early February. When you register, you’ll be asked to agree to our Event Terms and Conditions, which you can preview beforehand. And if you aren’t able to snag a ticket to the in-person event this time, don’t worry: we’ll be streaming the whole program live on our YouTube channel.

Once you register for State of the Open Home and your payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email containing your QR-coded ticket. We also recommend saving the link to your order confirmation page, so you can view your order status, change your details, or download your ticket again later if needed. Please bring your ticket to the event; we’ll scan your code at the entrance to provide your badge. If you have any questions or need assistance with your ticket, feel free to contact us at events@openhomefoundation.org. We’re here to help!

There’s no need to print your ticket (unless you want to!) since the QR code will be scannable on a smartphone.
